The short version

Pulse is an Atlassian Forge app that runs entirely on Atlassian's infrastructure ("Runs on Atlassian"). It has no external servers, makes no network calls outside Atlassian, and collects no analytics.

What Pulse stores

• Per-user preferences: working hours and days, reminder settings, holidays/PTO dates
• Favorite issue keys and recent search terms
• Active timer state (which issue, when started/paused)
• Week-submission records (which weeks you marked complete, and when)

All of the above lives in Atlassian Forge storage, keyed by your Atlassian account ID, inside your Jira site's data boundary. Worklogs themselves are stored by Jira, not by Pulse — Pulse creates and reads native Jira worklogs through Jira's own API, always acting as you, with your permissions.

What Pulse does not do

• No data leaves Atlassian — no external servers, APIs, or CDNs
• No analytics, telemetry, tracking pixels, or cookies of our own
• No third-party services or subprocessors
• Exports (CSV/Excel) are generated inside your browser and downloaded directly to you

Data removal

Uninstalling Pulse removes its Forge storage in accordance with Atlassian's app data lifecycle. Your worklogs remain in Jira, untouched, because they were never ours.
