About
Time tracking that respects your time
Pulse is made by Scriptix Labs — built because logging time in Jira shouldn't be a chore, and shouldn't cost per-user fees.
Most Jira time-tracking apps charge per user, per month — which adds up fast for a team, and makes no sense for the person who just wants to fill in their timesheet before standup. We thought that was backwards.
So we built Pulse on Atlassian Forge, which runs entirely inside your Jira site. There are no servers for us to pay for, and no proprietary database holding your data hostage — your worklogs are Jira's own. That's precisely why we can keep it free forever.
Pulse Companion, the browser extension, extends that reach beyond Jira — log from any tab, turn meetings into worklogs, and keep a timer wherever you work.
Free is the product, not the funnel
There's no upsell hiding behind Pulse. It's free for a solo developer and free for a 500-person company — the same full app either way.
Your data stays yours
Pulse writes native Jira worklogs and keeps its settings in Atlassian Forge storage. Nothing leaves your Jira site. Uninstall anytime and your time is still there.
No tracking, on principle
No analytics, no telemetry, no third-party scripts. We don't know who you are, and we like it that way.
