Up and running in a minute

Pulse comes in two flavours that share your Jira worklogs — the Forge app (runs inside Jira) and the browser extension (log from anywhere). Set up either, or both.

The Jira app

1

Install from the Marketplace

An admin installs Pulse once from the Atlassian Marketplace. Every user in the site then gets their own dashboard, timesheets, and reports — no per-user setup.

2

Open Pulse in Jira

Find Pulse in the Apps menu. It renders inside Jira and follows your Jira theme automatically.

3

Log your first time

Press L (or ⌘K → “Log time”), search an issue, type a duration like “1h 30m”, and hit Enter. It lands as a native Jira worklog on the issue itself.

The browser extension

1

Install the extension

Add Pulse Companion from the Chrome, Edge, or Firefox store (see the Extension page).

2

Connect your Jira

Create an API token at id.atlassian.com → paste your site URL, email, and token once. It's stored only in your browser.

3

Log from anywhere

Use the toolbar popup, the right-click menu, the omnibox (“PROJ-1 1h30m note”), or the timer on any Jira issue page.

Love it? It's free forever, but a small donation keeps it maintained.
