Pulse Teams is live on the Marketplace

  • •The paid Pulse Teams app — approvals, billing & invoicing, capacity planning, and team analytics — is now listed on the Atlassian Marketplace as a separate, optional app.
  • •Free for sites with 10 or fewer users; per-seat above that. It reuses your existing Pulse worklogs, so there's nothing to migrate.
  • •Free Pulse stays free forever — this changes nothing about it.
  • •New on the site: dedicated Pulse Teams, Jira app, and comparison pages.

Billing, invoicing & capacity for Pulse Teams

  • •Mark work billable by project rule (no worklog clutter), then roll it up into revenue by member and project against your cost-rate table.
  • •Turn billable hours into a client invoice PDF — generated in your browser, so nothing leaves Atlassian. Company details and tax live in Admin; client details are per-invoice.
  • •New capacity planning: set each member's planned weekly hours and see planned vs logged vs remaining and utilisation for any week.
  • •All in the paid Pulse Teams tier — free Pulse stays exactly as it is.

Cycle time, throughput & an ad-hoc query builder

  • •New cycle-time & throughput analytics — median and 85th-percentile cycle time plus completed-per-week, scoped by sprint or date range.
  • •New Query builder: write JQL, pick the columns you want, and export to CSV — it runs with your own Jira permissions.
  • •Both are paid pages in Pulse Teams and free in the browser extension (Insights → Cycle time, and the new Query view). Free Pulse keeps its preset reports.

Team reports that go wide and deep

  • •The team report now shows a full month as a member × day matrix, with a Day / Week / Auto column toggle — row totals, column totals, and a grand total.
  • •Click any teammate to drill into their logs day by day, broken down by issue.
  • •New taskwise view — flip the rows to tasks and see each issue split across members, with per-task and per-member totals.
  • •The extension's Team view matches, and defaults a month-long range to per-day columns.

Paste your standup into the timesheet

  • •Paste a notes block into Bulk log — a date on its own line sets the day, and each “PHX-1 : review - 30m” line becomes a row you verify before anything is logged.
  • •Forgiving by design: mixed “:”/“-” separators, spelled durations (“20 mins”), and lots of date formats (2026-08-30, 30-Aug-2026, today).
  • •Issue keys resolve to their summaries so you can eyeball each row; missing keys or durations are flagged.

Drag to resize & move in the time grid

  • •In the hour-of-day time grid, drag a worklog's bottom edge to resize it, or drag the block to another day or time.
  • •Editing a worklog now preserves its real start time instead of resetting it to the start of the day.
  • •Sprint trends let you choose how many recent sprints to compare (3 / 6 / 10).

Bulk log, reimagined

  • •A new spreadsheet-style bulk log — each row is its own day, issue, duration, and note. Add or remove rows as you go.
  • •“Fill from a date range” builds a row for every working day in one click (skipping weekends and your holidays), ready to tweak.
  • •The Jira app gets a dedicated Bulk log page; the log-time dialog is now focused on quick single entries.
  • •Need more than a screenful? CSV import is still there, with no row limit.

  • •Standup summary — copy yesterday and today's worklogs to your clipboard, grouped by day. Now on the Jira app and the extension.
  • •Natural-language quick add comes to the Jira app too: type “PROJ-1 1h30m note” and it fills the form.
  • •Log to any day — a date picker on the log screen plus a new month calendar you click to log straight onto a day.
  • •Bulk-log an issue across any week, not just the current one.
  • •Print or save any report or timesheet as a PDF; holidays & PTO lower your weekly target on both sides; choose which dashboard cards you see; and set custom JQL for your issue lists.

Hour-by-hour calendar & smarter guardrails

  • •New hour-of-day calendar view — see your day laid out by start time, with overlaps side by side.
  • •Optional email to issue watchers when you log, edit, or delete a worklog.
  • •Discard timer stops shorter than a minimum you set, so stray clicks don't create tiny worklogs.
  • •Daily hours guardrail — a gentle warning when a day is over or under your target.
